phylogeny, leaf, and underground morphology of the American bulb-bearing Oxalis. Except for SLA, leaf area, and perhaps bulb diameter, morphology ~ phylogeny models suggested very low values of Pagel’s lambda. This can be taken to suggest that the evolution of these traits is not under brownian motion (that relatedness is not a good predictor of similarity) or that my dataset has a lot of error/variance associated with the tip values…
